Mr. Chandana Dissanayaka - B.Com (Special)
Mr. Chandana Dissanayaka was appointed as the Chairman/CEO of Chilaw Plantations Limited on 25th November 2024.

Mr. Chandana Dissanayaka comes from a respectable and well-known family in Kurunegala District and he is a brilliant past pupil at renowned Ibbagamuwa central college and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) Degree from University of Kelaniya. He also followed charted Accountancy conducted by the ICASL.

Mr. Chandana Dissanayaka started his carrier in private sector in 2006 and since then he served key possessions in financial & insurance sector as a Manager, Area Manager & Regional Manager. Before the appointment at CPL he served the possession as a financial & Insurance Consultant.
In above all institutions he has made significant Contribution to achieve the goals and objectives while reaching the higher standards with showing both leadership and management skills.
He is well educated and well experienced person with outstanding management and leadership capabilities.

MR.PVRS Kumar -Bachelor of Science Business Administration (Special)/Diploma of Banking and Finance/Advanced Diploma in Credit Managemen
MR.PVRS Kumara is a Chief Bank Manager with over 29 years of extensive experience in the banking industry. Throughout his career at National Savings Bank, he has honed his skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, management, and leadership, ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial services and fostering organizational growth. Mr.Kumara’s commitment to excellence and adaptability have enabled me to navigate the complex challenges effectively while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team development. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is an active social worker, passionate about contributing to community upliftment and promoting positive change.

Mrs Aruni S Ranasinghe
Mrs Aruni S Ranasinghe performs as a member of the Board of Directors of the Chilaw Plantations Ltd since 14th February 2020, representing the Ministry of Plantation Industries. She serves as a Board member in several government institutions.
She is the Additional Secretary (Administration) of the Ministry of Plantation at present. Mrs. Ranasinghe is a Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service with 27 years of Government service.
She has been graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Special) Hons. of University of Sri Jayawardenapura and obtained a Masters in the field of Public Administration from Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA)

Mr W.Siriwardhana
Mr. Siriwardhana successfully completed the National Diploma in Agriculture - Hardy Senior Technical Institute Ampara and Entrepreneurship Development and Small Business management course in Open University of Sri Lanka.
He has experience in Agriculture Extension and Enterprise Development with rural credit programs and Integrated Farming System for Sustainable Agriculture.
Mr. Siriwardhana creates community resilience for food security and livelihood at household by increasing agriculture productivity, availability, access through conversation and diversification of resources by increasing production capacity of crops and livestock. Also, he worked as an Agriculture extension officer, Enterprise development officer, Agriculture Manager and Regional Agriculture and Supply Manager in many organizations.

Mr. Dilusha Fernando
Mr. Dilusha Fernando is a highly skilled and results-driven Assistant General Manager with over 18 years of experience in production planning and operations management within the apparel sector. Adept at streamlining production processes, improving supply chain efficiency, and optimizing resource allocation to meet demand forecasts and deadlines. Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, inventory control, and quality standards.
Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including planning, procurement, and sales, to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Demonstrates strong leadership abilities in managing teams, driving process improvements, and troubleshooting operational issues to enhance productivity. Skilled in data-driven decision-making, utilizing ERP systems, and leading the implementation of best practices in production planning.
Adept at identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and continuously improving production schedules to meet customer requirements. Passionate about leveraging technology to optimize production workflows and drive the growth of the business.

Ms. R. M. Damitha Kumari Rathnayake B.Sc. (Business Administration) University of Sri Jayewardenepura, MA (Financial Economics) University of Colombo, MA (Public Policy), Australian National University
Ms. R. M. Damitha Kumari Rathnayake is currently serving as the Additional Director General of the Department of Treasury Operations at the Ministry of Finance, Sri Lanka. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, a Master of Arts in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo, and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the Australian National University (ANU), reflecting a strong academic foundation in economics, finance, and public policy.
Ms. Rathnayake began her public service as an Assistant Director at the Department of Public Finance, contributing to the development of government procurement frameworks and financial regulations. She later served as Deputy Director at the Department of Public Enterprises, where she was actively involved in enhancing oversight mechanisms and strengthening governance frameworks across state-owned enterprises. In her current capacity as Additional Director General, she continues to involving with treasury operations and enhancing fiscal discipline.
Her experience extends beyond the Ministry of Finance into the broader state financial sector. She has served as Acting General Manager of both the National Savings Bank, and the Regional Development Bank, and as Chairperson of the Agriculture and Agrarian Insurance Board.
Ms. Rathnayake has served on the Boards of several major State-Owned Enterprises, including People’s Bank, State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited, and Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. She currently serves on the Board of Management of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, in addition to the Membership of the Board of the Chilaw Plantation Limited.

Mr. Rohana Kumara
Mr. Rohana Kumara is a respected Sri Lankan expert in sustainable coconut shell procurement for the activated carbon industry. He currently serves as the Coconut Shell Purchasing Manager at a leading activated carbon company. Since 2007, he has been responsible for sourcing high-quality coconut shell charcoal — the key raw material used in the production of activated carbon.
With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Kumara has played a crucial role in strengthening Sri Lanka’s position as the global leader in coconut-based activated carbon. His work has significantly contributed to elevating both the quality and reliability of raw material procurement in the industry.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Kumara is a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability. He is currently leading a large-scale initiative called the "One Million Coconut Sapling Program", aimed at promoting coconut cultivation,
Mr. Kumara continues to be a driving force behind sustainable procurement practices, green sourcing, and industry-wide environmental efforts in Sri Lanka.
